Survival of the Duckling Sleepover!

I did it! Yes once again I have survived the dreaded duckling sleepover. The Kintergarden class at my kids school hatches duck eggs during the spring. The during the last 2 weeks of school the baby ducks can come home with your child overnight. When A was in K we did it and I was totally paranoid that it would die on my watch. That duck survived. Now it is C's turn and we had 2 baby ducks spend the night. Thankfully both made it. I was so relieved to deliver them back to the classroom! I'll have to do it one more time next year when O is in kintergarden but then I'll be done forever. They are cute. The first photo is C with Daisy the duckling and the second is a picture of both ducklings.

This is a picture I took at my niece's baptism yesterday. The one in the center is my nephew and the other two are my boys. All are total buds and have the best time together. Brothers, cousins and friends, doesn't get better!

Found this cute picture and had to add it! This is exactly the kind of house I wish we lived it! Love the shutters, the porch all of it. The irony is that we live in CA and there are a ton a hacienda looking dwellings which excite me not at all. Actually we live in a similar looking house but it is a rental and a not this cute! Alhtough I am working on it!
