It's getting harder to hold onto the pink here is SF. Grey, cold and foggy is the weather we've been having for the past 4 days and no change in sight. It was 58 yesterday in the city and windy! It's June for goodness sakes! This is where I was, lilly bikini on, kids playing in the sand, sipping a sweet tea by day and a G & T by evening! Well a girl can dream can't she?
Growing up I'd spend a number of my summers in San Francisco. My mother is from there. I do remember is being quite chilly. I still have family there and they say that it can change on a dime though.
ReplyDeleteMy grandfather moved to the Santa Cruz area where it would be chilly until about 10:30-11 am and then warm and nice.
In Chicago it has been Early April type weather so far. We are wondering where Summer is too. In fact my mother recently stated the same thing. Chicago area being on the lake takes a bit longer to warm up.
