Well I received my sunshine peony perfect shirt yesterday and I have to admit to disapointment. It is going back. It seems much darker and the predominant color is a mustard yellow. I had pictured a clear sunny yellow and a bright cheery pink. I admit that I look better in cooler, clearer colors and that someone who loves the warmer shades may love this. It was well made although the fabric felt thin and a size 8 fit me quite well. I've got my fingers crossed that the pencil skirt is the perfect thing of beauty I am hoping for!
I am the "fall/spring" coloring, and when I received it in the mail, I sort of knew it would only work on this coloring. That stinks that it didn't work for you!
ReplyDeleteYou know what--the pencil skirt paired with a black turtleneck could look very chic. That way you still have the pretty print, but the top half of your body is encased in a more flattering color.

I felt the same as you did, I returned it the day after it was shipped to me. I'm really sad because I loved the color and pattern. The cardigan was the same vibe IMO, a heck of a lot of mustard yellow. Thing is, it looked beautiful on the gal in the next dressing room, but did horrible things to my fair skin.
